The Rotary Club of Denison, Texas honored L.T."Doc" Davis on Thursday, July 7, 2000 by bestowing upon him the title of the fourth Honorary Member of our Club.  Doc Davis is a retired veterinarian and a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station.  He has 42 years of perfect attendance....a feat our club may never see again!  He has served as President of the Denison Rotary Club in 1968-1969  on many different committees and has served as a Club Director in all areas of service.  He is shown in the picture with Mike McKinley (President 1999-2000).  He was proposed for membership by Joe Dusek (Secretary/Treasurer Emeritus).  When Doc misses a Denison Rotary meeting you know he must be fishing!  He enjoys Rotary so much he regularly makes up more meetings that he has missed.  He just enjoys the Rotary friendships he has established over the last 42 years.  Thank you Doc, for being one of the cornerstones of the Denison Rotary Club!
